Seeing as though I am still rather new to this blogging business and you are still getting to know me, I thought it would be appropriate to do a '30 facts about me' post. Hopefully, this will help you to feel as though you know me a little bit better and I'd like to apologise in advance if you get bored because a) 30 facts is a fair few and b) I'm not a very interesting person! So with that said, I had better get my thinking cap on and get typing!

1. My full name is Emily Jane Bashforth
2. I was born on 3rd August 1999 
3. I am a Leo 
4. I don't pay much attention to star signs but I like being a little lion
5. I live in England in the tinniest town in the middle of nowhere and have done all my life (now that's the boring bits out of the way!)
6. I'm addicted to pizza and eat it most days
7. I am also addicted to biscuits, especially the old school ones!
8. I am too tall and I hate it
9. I try to convince myself that my favourite colour is pink but I love all colours equally
10. My favourite animals are elephants and giraffes
11. I spend a lot of my time listening to old songs (mainly from the 2000's) because, lets be honest, they're better than lots of music nowadays!
12. Saying that, I'm addicted to listening to music and spend my life with my earphones in
13. I have too many girl crushes, including Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Cara Delevingne, Jourdan Dunn and Little Mix
14. I keep up with the Kardashians better than I keep up with my own life
15. I have only been on an aeroplane twice and the first time was only a couple of years ago
16. I've had to wear glasses since I was about 8 because lets just say I would be very dangerous without them!
17. I am an only child and have quite a small family
18. I have no appendix and have had some of my small intestine removed
19. When I was about 10 I went out for the first time on my own with my friends and we went swimming. I jumped into the pool, spun around and whacked my chin on the wall and almost killed myself. Wasn't allowed out again. Can't think why...
20. Despite living in England, I've never been to London
21. I'm scared of both cats AND dogs - sorry!
22. I used to do ballet, tap, jazz and street dancing
23. I do not currently have any pets I have, however, previously owned 2 goldfish, 1 budgie and 2 bunny rabbits
24. I'm quite an introverted, quiet person
25. I really don't like fizzy drinks
26. I love a good quiz!
27. I hope to have a career in journalism when I am older
