BRIT Awards Fashion 2015

The BRITs are undoubtedly one of my favourite nights of the year. Especially as a huge music lover, I think it is great to be able to celebrate some of the amazing talents that we have here and I think its really special that everyone can come together the way that they do for one night.

I watch the awards every year without fail and, as well as biting my nails (not literally) hoping my favourite artists will win awards and dancing around my living room to their performances, I also spend most of the night being in awe of the gorgeous outfits.
My Grammy's (almost just typed 'granny' there instead, oops) Fashion blog post proved really popular so I was really excited when the BRITs happened as I was really looking forward to putting together a post all about my favourite looks from the night! I love British fashion, however, I also love how artists from other countries come together at the BRIT Awards to join in the celebrations so, naturally, this blog post won't be 100% British haha :)
Enjoy!
Michelle Keegan
Michelle Keegan is one of my ultimate girl/style crushes at the moment. Everything she wears is always on point and no matter where she is, what she looks like or what she's wearing, she never fails to look flawless. This dress she wore to the BRITs is so pretty. It may be black and simple but the lace makes it look so cute and I love the tied belt in the middle. I also love how she accessorised with a green bag instead of sticking to 100% black. Finally, I adore Michelle's hair like this, it looks gorgeous with big curls! Oh, and her eyebrows are always on fleek ;)

Laura Whitmore
Laura is another person who always seems to get it right when it comes to outfits. I started off by following her on Instagram after loving what she wore on 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now' and have loved her style ever since. I like how she went for a more unusual colour and I think this pale yellow really complements her skin tone and hair colour. Her lipstick matches the outfit perfectly and I think she did right by keeping it simple with black heels. But oh my word, doesn't she just have the most amazing legs you've ever seen haha?! Go Laura!

Ella Henderson
I absolutely ADORE Ella. I have been obsessed with her album for such a long time and was so happy that she got nominated for an award! I think this long, black dress is really flattering for her shape and I like the chains which add a bit of something extra. I also like the gold around the neckline, which looks a little like a necklace, and I think this ties in perfectly with the little gold tips on the end of her heels. One of the more simple looks, but such a classy one too! I also think Ella's hair looks super pretty like this and she looks so grown up!

Cara Delevingne
I love how Cara always does her own thing when it comes to fashion. She didn't go down the sterotypical red carpet road of a floor length gown and sparkly heels. She went for a more masculine look and totally owned it! Definitely wasn't the most glamorous look of the evening, but it was sophisticated, classy and mature. I also love how Cara put her own stamp on the outfit by unbuttoning the shirt a little and adding a scarf and hat. I also really like her makeup with the smoky eyes! She has such edgy style and I love how modern she is.

Kim Kardashian
Of course, this fashion post would not be complete without a bit of Kimy K! I absolutely adore this jumpsuit that Kim wore. Its black but makes a huge statement with the cut outs on her chest and arms. Jumpsuits are also always really flattering on Kim too because she has such a fab body! Her shoes also match the detailing on the outfit perfectly. Finally, I love how confident Kim is whenever she goes to an event, or just whenever she goes out in general. She knows she looks amazing and walks so tall with her head held high. She radiates confidence and I think that's such an admirable trait.

Ellie Goulding
I love Ellie and her music and I'm always interested to see what she wears to big events. Something I love about her is that, one minute, she could be wearing a really rock-chic outfit consisting of leather and studs and, the next minute, she will be wearing something like this. A beautiful, long, white, lace gown. Ellie looks like such a princess and I think white really suits her. The sheer material in this dress and thin material make it look even more regal and I can just imagine it blowing in the wind. I also love how she kept her hair and make up natural and accessorised with just a few rings.

Rita Ora
Last year, Rita looked amazing at the BRITs in a long, yellow gown and this year she definitely didn't disappoint again! This glitzy outfit is so gorgeous and reminds me of ultimate Hollywood Glamour! She definitely looks like she should be gracing the red carpet of her own movie at a premier in New York or something! The accessories worked well with the outfit too and the simple shoes allowed the outfit to do all the talking. Rita's make up also looked really sophisticated.

Taylor Swift
OF COURSE, Tay Tay HAD to be in this blog post because, as you know, she is my ultimate Queen! This dress is a bit different to anything I have seen her wearing in the past but she totally rocked it. I really love the dragon design of the dress and the sheer back and, of course, it goes really well with her signature red lipstick! I also adored Taylor's performance and the short suit she wore for it. She looked extra hot!

Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall (Little Mix)
The Little Mix ladies never fail to make me cry over their beauty! I love how we've been able to see their style mature over the years as these outfits are totally different to anything they would've worn two years ago. Firstly, Jesy. Miss Nelson looks so fierce in red and I can't quite cope with how hot she looks! Her dress really flatters her figure and she looks so confident. Next, Perrie. Her dress is the most simple but is effective. The long, black, gown makes her look really mature and shows off her body so well. I like how she had her hair scraped back too in order to show off the dress and I like the little bits of detailing on the side. Leigh-Anne's dress is the most unusual  but she looks HOT! The colour gorgeous sand I like the sheer material. I also love the black design at the bottom which looks like its growing up her legs. And finally, Jade. This Cinderella style dress makes her look so grown up and, looking at her, its hard to believe she's obsessed with bows and all things Disney! This dress works really well being monochrome, which also makes it look more sophisticated. I love the neckline and the cut out in the centre. Well done girlies!!

I hope you all liked this blog post, these are definitely super duper fun to write! I wonder who your favourites were and who's performances you loved?? Feel free to tweet me about it and we can girl crush together over our fave stars haha!

Love, Emily :) xx
