My Weekly Obsession: Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

I love mascara as I think it really completes your makeup look and your makeup isn't truly complete without it. I also think it is one of the most important steps of a makeup routine as, even when you are in a rush or don't want to wear lots of makeup, applying a coat of mascara can help you look a bit more presentable, especially first thing in the morning haha!

This week, I have been obsessed with this Maybelline The Falsies mascara. I have heard many people rave about this for a while now and have only just got my hands on it, however, I can completely see why so many people swear by it!

I use the waterproof version just because, you never know what could happen in the day! However, there are other options too.
I apply this mascara to my top lashes and sometimes my bottom lashes, however, I might sometimes apply a different mascara to my bottom lashes, depending on what sort of mood I'm in!

This is definitely a mascara that 'does what it says on the tin' and actually does make you look as though you are wearing flash eyelashes! It also manages to do this without looking really heavy, being clumpy or without weighing your lashes down. They still look nice and fluttery and long, which is what I like. You can also build the mascara up. One coat gives you amazing, lovely lashes, although, I like to sometimes wear a couple of coats for extra volume and falselashesness (probz not even a word, in fact, definitely not a word).
Here is a slightly creepy photo of my eyes wearing the mascara! I think this was 2 coats but I can't quite remember!

This is definitely a mascara I would recommend, although, one downside to it, is that it took me about five lifetimes to get into the packaging haha! It was worth it though.

I love the wand/brush/whatever you want to call it too on this mascara, although, it probably looks a little like some sort of beetle/insect on my hand in the photo above haha!

I picked up this mascara from Superdrug (a UK highstreet/drugstore beauty and makeup store) and, if I remember rightly, it was around £.7.99

Love, Emily :) xx
