My Weekly Obsession: Converse

I haven't worn my Converse shoes in, literally, almost a year. The last time I wore them was Summer last year as, once September hits, I put them away and the tights and black boots come out. However, as Spring is now officially here again, I managed to, eventually, dig them out of my cupboard and I have been wearing them lots this week!

The Converse I own are just the normal, white, low top Converse All Stars (I actually don't even know if that's what they're called but you get what I mean haha) and I like them because it means I can actually say that I own a pair of trainers!! ....sort of haha!

I like to wear my Converse with a variety of outfits and, as the weather starts to get warmer, you will probably see them featured on my blog lots, however, there are two main ways in which I wear them.
One way that I like to style my Converse is simply with a pair of jeans and a tshirt. You can never really go wrong with it and it makes the outfit even more comfortable.

The other way in which I wear them is with a dress and a pair of cute socks with frills on top that poke out through the shoe. This is my favourite way to wear Converse, despite the fact that I haven't done it yet as the weather hasn't been too great, as it helps to make a dress that could possibly be quite formal, look really casual. I also love to wear different coloured socks with my converse, particularly pastel ones as it looks really adorable and keeps the outfit looking girly, even when you are wearing trainers.

Finally, I'm not one of those people who likes to scruff up their Converse and make them look worn, I like to keep them nice and white and always tie them in neat bows haha!
How do you style your Converse and what are your favourite shoes to wear during Spring?

Love, Emily :) xx

  1. I love wearing the low tops with boyfriend jeans! It looks casual but chic and stylish at the same time. Converse are my obsession in the summertime! They can dress down any outfit and they just look classic imo. xx
