Problems People Who Have An iPhone Will Understand

I wouldn't be without my iPhone, as I'm sure many of you fellow iPhone lovers wouldn't. It allows me to download apps, use social media to my heart's content, text, make calls, (not that I do a lot of either of those things because I have approximately five contacts) play music and take some pretty decent photos, so it's a great invention if you ask me.
However, as anyone who owns or has previously owned an iPhone will know, they can be rather frustrating and don't half come with their problems. So, I thought I would compile a list of issues that our iPhones have that annoy us on a daily basis and which lucky Android users don't have to put up with. Although, despite the fact that iPhones are probably one of the most problematic creations of all time, we still keep buying them, so we bring the suffering on ourselves really!

Having ten photos, three songs and zero apps on your phone yet, somehow, still having no storage available. You could probably delete your entire existence and would still see this pop up on a daily basis:

Leaving the house with 100% battery and being down to 20% within half an hour - can we officially say that iPhones have the worst battery life?

Dropping your phone down the stairs yet it doesn't smash and then accidentally dropping it from waist height onto a carpet...and it cracks.

Having to buy a new charger every other week because they just can't seem to go any longer without breaking. Even when they look perfectly fine, chances are, they don't work or have to be wiggled into a certain position to actually charge your phone.

Likewise, you go through more pairs of earphones than you eat hot dinners. They're great for about a month until one of them decides to break. And if there's one thing worse than no earphones, it's only one working earphone.

Speaking of earphones, you do not even have to touch them and they will tangle up. They really do have a life of their own. You spend more time trying to untangle them than actually using them.

When you accidentally open your front camera and are simply not prepared for what is staring back at you.

One word. Siri. Does Siri ever actually answer anyone's questions and help them?

When you look super fiiiiiine but can't take any selfies because...

When your fingerprint scanner won't work for some reason and so you have to actually type in your passcode like it's 2012.

When you spend all year waiting for Summer but, when Summer finally arrives, this happens...

Not being able to delete the one hundred Apple apps which came with your phone and are probably the reason your storage is full and you just shove them all in one folder.

When Apple announce that they're bringing out a new model of iPhone one month after you've bought yours.

Autocorrect has probably ruined your life on multiple occasions.

When you're using your phone whilst lying in bed and it suddenly rotates from portrait to landscape and simultaneously turns your whole world upside down.

Having to update your apps pretty much every other day but never doing it. It takes too long, okay?

Apple Maps is even more useless than Siri. You could probably walk to your destination quicker than Apple Maps could get you to the right place.

When you're using an app and a game pops up and when you click on it, it takes you to the App Store.

Spending so much time charging your phone, you may as well have bought a landline.

When Apple tells you to update your iOS Software ALL. THE. TIME. Yet never gives the the storage to do so.

Still not actually knowing what iCloud is but just knowing that you don't trust it and so won't be using it because it's where celebrities get their pictures hacked.

Ahhh, it's a hard life!

What do you find most annoying about your iPhone? <3

Love, Emily :) xx

  2. Problems I have with my Android:

I had the storage problem with the last phone so bought the 32GB model. So far so good, but it's only a matter of time (it ought to be a crime to bring our a phone without a microSD slot)

Battery life with my phone (Nexus 5X) is put compared to the Sony Ericsson's I've had in the past. I keep charging it up whenever I'm in the car, but the navigation app (CoPilot) users power faster than it charges up.

I love Google Fit (no more forgetting to start/stop it) but if I wear the phone in an arm band and go for a long run the fingerprint recognition stops working. It says 'Fingerprint hardware not available'. Leave it an hour or two and it's back working. Either I get too hot or sweaty.
