Alexander Wang Spring/Summer 2017 Ready-To-Wear Collection // NYFW

For their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, Alexander Wang collaborated with Adidas to create a unisex collection consisting of eighty four pieces. A risk, no doubt, but one which I reckon definitely paid off.
This collection isn't just all tracksuits and baggy hoodies, oh no, its fresh and modern and is sure to get anyone wearing it channelling their inner surfer. Models had their hair bleached and styled into effortlessly messy mops to compliment the casual collection, which heavily featured cool toned, neutral colours, such as whites and pale blues.
The SS line is made up of scuba-style dresses, light-weight shirts, distressed denim and a whole load of stripes, giving the entire thing some serious beach vibes. Its honestly the perfect collection for those hot days when you still want to look good but don't want to drown in your own sweat whilst trying.
I think this collection looks super comfortable as we aren't seeing restricting body con dresses or pencil skirts, instead, Wang has designed a range of clothes perfect for casual everyday wear that can be just thrown on and still look chic.

It'd be difficult to choose a favourite item from this range, but what do you love most? The strappy bras? The floral prints? Well, here's some of my favourite looks, straight from the runway...

Do you have a favourite look? <3

Love, Emily :) xx
