Fashion during Autumn is the best kind of fashion, right? It's a time that allows us to totally splurge on cardigans, boots, jumpers, scarves and anything remotely woolly or with a hint of burgundy in it. Fall fashion is for sure my favourite because who doesn't love being warm and cosy as well as looking decent? It's one of the only times of the year when a coat won't ruin your outfit.
I wanted to show you one of my go-to outfits for Autumn this year. It's comfortable and casual but not too informal as it includes a skirt and printed shirt. The skirt is, of course, a deep red aka the classic Autumn colour but is made of a velvet material and the shirt has an unusual almost polka dot print with a low neckline. It can sometimes be tricky to figure out what to pair with a burgundy item of clothing, however, I found that black, white and grey do the job brilliantly.
I have also been reaching for the cardigan you are about to see pretty much every day, lately. Not only is it a little different to your conventional cardigan as it has a hood and not only does it look pretty fabulous but it makes me feel as though I am wrapped up inside a toasty marshmallow, which is surely a great selling point, right?
Finally, I teamed the outfit with a pair of black tights and black boots, the things pretty much everyone and their dog seems to be wearing at this time of year.
So, without further ado, I probably ought to stop waffling and just show you what I'm talking about, so here is one of my favourite outfits for Fall 2016! Be sure to tell me what items in your wardrobe you're wearing non-stop at the moment.
